JANUARY: Whale Sharks in Madagascar with Stella Diamant

Stella Diamant is the Founder of the Madagascar Whale Shark Project. Her research work has shown that Nosy Be, in northwest Madagascar, is a global hotspot for whale sharks. That has helped the island become the hub for marine ecotourism in the country.

In my experience, Madagascar is definitely one of the most challenging countries to work in, so we chat about why and how she started the project, how she's overcome obstacles, and all the fantastic work she's doing!
